WHITSTABLE HARBOUR GIN – SEA BUCKTHORN & SAMPHIRE
A juniper-led jaunt on the nose with a generous bouquet of floral botanicals set the scene for an unctuous mouth-coating flinty dryness and a costal salinity from the samphire that rises like a gentle summer tide. This generous gin stands up to a tidal wave of tonic; balancing the natural sweetness of the mixer with its forthcoming, full-bodied flavour. – Joel Harrison, Author of The World Atlas of Gin.
WHITSTABLE HARBOUR GIN – KENTISH CHERRY & HIBISCUS
Don’t be fooled by the pinkness of this pink gin. It’s a grown up’s drink. Hibiscus acidity is present with its floral accent, heightened by the addition of tonic. Kentish Cherry provides a subtle note that carries the whole gin. Dependent upon your mixer choice you can up the sweet or push the dry. Either way it’s an intelligent example of how to do pink gins right.
